Seeds of The Orchards Church were planted in the hearts of Todd and Angela Pettibone during March of 2017. After being on staff at Casper Faith, in Casper, Wyoming; they sensed God was transitioning them to a new ministry position.

Through prayer and several different circumstances, they sensed their next step was starting a church in Lander, WY centered around the idea of an orchard. That idea became clearer after learning the Central Wyoming College was in the process of revitalizing an orchard at the CWC Field Station near Sinks Canyon.

 

By the middle of August they moved their family 2.5 hours away from Casper to Lander and began the process of planting The Orchards Church.

The goal of The Orchards Church is to help people grow in relationship with Christ and each other, while equipping them to share God's love with others. That's the reason our tagline is: "People Growing Together, Producing Fruit". 

​

Since moving to Lander the Pettibones have built relationships with people throughout the community,  led Christmas carols on one of the "Light Up Lander" hayrides, helped organize a Fremont County Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner, and are set to host a kids booth along the Lander July 4th Parade route.

​

Through the generous support of individuals and church partners, God has provided funds to purchase equipment, software, promo and a rental space for The Orchards Church.
